Help & information
Useful information about our firewood, storage and local delivery service.
We are based in the South East and deliver across most of Kent & East Sussex. Check the Delivery Areas page for a comprehensive list of covered postcodes.
The logs will be stacked in a pallet crate 1.15m wide × 0.83m deep × 1.2m high. The density of the stacking means increased value for money versus loose logs — our stacked crate is equivalent to approximately 1.17 CBM Packed which is equal to 1.91 – 2 CBM loose Volume.
Ensure you store the logs in a dry, well-ventilated area off the ground. Avoid covering completely with plastic or tarp as airflow is essential to keeping the logs dry. For ideal protection from the elements, add one of our crate rain jackets to your order.
Properly dried wood burns much cleaner and produces significantly less smoke than wet or unseasoned logs. This means more heat per log for you, and less pollution for the environment. It will also make lighting and using your stove much easier.

We can deliver onto slightly sloping or uneven surfaces, including shingle and some rough stone areas, provided the ground is firm, stable and safely accessible. However, delivery onto steep slopes, heavily uneven or unstable surfaces may not be possible. All deliveries are subject to our driver’s assessment on arrival to ensure they can be carried out safely.
Our electric pallet mover cannot safely operate on steep slopes or other unstable surfaces – shingle or firm grass is fine.
Our classic crates are comparable to 2.2 Large builder bags, or 8 240L Wheelie Bins.
